Rejuvenation Unlacquered Brass Faucet Dupe (Designer Look for Way Less)
If you’ve been swooning over a Rejuvenation unlacquered brass bridge faucet but can’t stomach the $2,700 price tag, you’re in luck. Today, I’m sharing the affordable brass faucet dupe I found for a small fraction of the cost.
This summer, indulging in my soft-girl era and trying to escape the matrix of homogenized, “influencer” home design I had found myself unwittingly trapped in, I made it a priority to unplug from Instagram and explore aesthetics beyond my typical preferences thru alternative means of inspiration(books, magazines, Youtube).

After binging several episodes of For the Love of Kitchens on the Magnolia Network, I quickly realized I had become quite smitten with the bespoke charm of English kitchen design and the patina they flaunt (think rustic wood, weathered natural stone, and living finishes like copper and unlacquered brass).
With so many old-world details already working in my favor like hand-hewn wood beams, an exposed brick fireplace, and even a small copper collection, my shiny, polished brass faucet felt out of place (not pictured). Instead of blending in, its lack of patina practically screamed “brand new” and mass-produced.
I had been swooning over the hand-crafted unlacquered brass faucets from deVOL (often featured on For the Love of Kitchens, and yes… you can find full episodes on YouTube), but I knew I couldn’t justify spending thousands for one.

So I did what any desperate design lover would do. I dove back into influencer land, hoping someone had uncovered a reasonable dupe. But every time I thought I had struck gold with a gorgeous bridge faucet, the link only circled back to Rejuvenation’s $2,700+ versions.
Not gonna lie….I was beginning to feel like I had failed at life. Like…where did I go wrong not being able to casually drop $3K on a damn faucet? But… I will not be deterred!
So after weeks of searching and second-guessing, I took a chance on an Etsy find: this unlacquered brass bridge faucet with sprayer and cold water faucet combo. At $450 and backed by glowing reviews, it felt like too good of a deal to pass up.

Shipping took less than a week and when the faucet arrived, I immediately knew it was quality because the package was heavy AF.
The shop offers several faucet and handle styles, but I chose the simple lever design. With my cramped backsplash setup, I worried the cross handles (which were actually my favorite knob design) would feel too tight.
It’s important to know that this faucet will come shiny and “new”. But with each use, the brass will begin to develop a patina as unlacquered brass has no sealant on it (hence why it’s considered a living finish). I have only had this faucet combo for 2 weeks, and you can see how it is already developing a more aged appearance .

With my under-sink water filter system, I was a little worried installation might be tricky, but the faucet and sprayer came with clear instructions, and the seller was quick to answer my questions when it came to hooking up the cold water faucet to my filtration system.
Tip: Just make sure to specify that you’re in the U.S. when ordering your faucet or sprayer so the plumbing connections are correct.
For your shopping convenience, I have included multiple budget-friendly unlacquered brass faucets below. My faucet is labeled “d” and I went with the lever handles (there is also a cross handle option on this listing).

While time will ultimately tell, as for now, I am super thrilled with this designer dupe I snagged from Etsy. It adds so much character to my kitchen, and I love how it feels in my hands when using it.
It just goes to show, where there is a will, there is a freakin’ way.
Never give up on designing a home that makes you happy- no matter what your bank account says!

Thank you so much for stopping by and spending some time with me this week! It truly means the world. 🙂
Until next time, keep on designing a life that feels as good as it looks!

I’m looking for a dupe to this faucet but in an unlacquered imitation? My daughter is wary of the tarnishing but still wants the antique look. Anyone know of one? Many thanks from Canada!
Hi Patrice! I totally understand your daughter’s hesitation- unlacquered brass is not for everyone and it will tarnish for sure. I am in the process of designing a kid’s bathroom and I did not feel comfortable using unlacquered in that scenario either so I found a polished brass faucet from Kingston Brass. Look into the brand because they offer several styles of polished brass faucets. Here is an affiliate link to shop some different options (not sure what design she likes) https://rstyle.me/+nUAmeiMlx_uXjTs4qBfrow
Hello! How do you like the kitchen faucet ? Still in love?
Thanks!
Hi Jislain! Yes… I still love it! Just know that unlacquered brass naturally develops patina over time. Mine dulled and got some water spots at first, and it actually went through a slightly uneven “awkward phase” before evening out. Now it has a really soft, lived-in look that I love.
It’s definitely not a super shiny, maintenance-free finish, but if you like that vintage, European, character-filled vibe, it’s beautiful.
The seller also offers a 5-year warranty, which gave me peace of mind, and you can always brighten it up with lemon or a brass polish if you ever want to restore some shine (so you’ve got options depending on the look you prefer)! I’m letting mine just patina freely though.
