OK, friends..I have a bit of a confession to make.
Essentially…. I have been feeling a little burnt out lately.
I am not sure if it’s the dog days of summer or the fact that, since January, I have been going full force, transforming my fixer upper every freaking weekend (and therefore simply in need of a little R and R) – but either way, I feel like a major loser today.
You see….as a result of my recent sloth-like state, I don’t have any cool project or dramatic transformations to share. Instead, all I have is a Modern Farmhouse decor round-up post to shove down your throat.
Given the fact that I just recently completed a “fixer upper” style makeover in my dining room (in cased you missed it, you can check it out by clicking here), I can confidently say that I have a good idea of what is on the market as it pertains to Modern Farmhouse dining room decor- especially budget-friendly pieces, because ya’ll should know by now that I am a major cheap skate.
As I began my search for dining room decor a few months ago, I was particularly impressed with the selection of farmhouse chairs available for a reasonable price and as a result, I have decided to share my round-up of Modern Farmhouse dining chairs for under $100 with you today in lieu of a mind-blowing, home improvement project.
While these chairs are under $100 per chair, most of these are sold in pairs so the total price will be more. For your shopping convenience, I have included affiliate links. Be sure to click on the photo to be directed to the retailer’s website.
Modern Farmhouse Dining Chairs on the Cheap
As you may be able to gather from my own dining room, I am particularly fond of the black Windsor chairs (listed with the caption “s” or simply click here). I have a few reasons as to why I am swooning over this particular design.
First and foremost is functionality. Being a mother to two small children, I have basically sworn off any dining chair covered in fabric, and am all about a surface I can easily wipe down with a rag and forget about. I have done the upholstered route before and don’t plan on going back any time in the near future. So if you are wondering why I didn’t include many upholstered options, my messy children are to blame.
Another aspect of the Windsor design I adore is the timelessness of the silhouette. And if the black appears a little too stark or modern for your taste, you could always go with white. While I believe black is tres chic and perfect for the whole Modern Farmhouse aesthetic, white would establish more of a coastal vibe if that is more your cup of tea.
If you are craving more of a textural, organic element, the natural wood or rattan designs would be great. Not to mention, they would provide an added component of warmth in an all-white room. In fact, I loved the warmth of the natural wood so much that I decided to incorporate a wooden bench into the mix to break up all of my Windsor chairs.
No matter your specific preference, I hope you find something you like from my round-up.
Now get out there and design some good vibes. Please also spread the love by Pinning….
