I am not going to lie…I feel a little icky publishing Christmas content before we have even consumed the Thanksgiving turkey, but if any of you are in the market for an artificial Christmas tree, now is the time to start your search.
Lucky for you, I have done all the busy work by compiling a list of the most realistic, pre-lit Christmas trees for under $250.
While I do love the smell of a real Christmas tree, let’s face it…they are needy and messy. Living in a house full of boys and pets, I really don’t need one more thing to nurture or clean up after (just sayin’!).
Given I am a blogger who has to “deck the halls” before turkey day, I need something that will still be viable by the time Christmas day rolls around. So if you are on the fence about fake trees, in the word’s of Missy Elliot, “Ain’t no shame, ladies do your thing.” You can always burn a Christmas tree scented candle!
This time last year, I was on a frantic search for a pre-lit, Christmas tree after my el-cheapo, Big Lots tree decided to finally die on me. And while I had done a great job decorating and glam-ifying my puny, fake tree (which you can read all about how to make a cheap tree look fabulous here), I was looking forward to getting a tree I didn’t have to devote so much time and effort into fluffing and shaping- a natural beauty so to speak. I wanted the fullest, most realistic artificial tree I could find, and I knew I did not want to invest hundreds upon hundreds of dollars. In fact, I had decided I would not spend over $250 on a tree (I’ve told you before, I am a cheapskate).
While browsing online, I absolutely fell in love with this Pre-lit, artificial tree, and you can buy the same one here.
While you do still have to work with the stems to fluff the tree, once you assemble it, the tree looks so full and realistic. I know purchasing a Christmas tree online can be a little scary, but I was sure to choose one that had great reviews.
If this particular style or shape of tree is not your cup of tea, I have rounded up some more options which not only look freaking fabulous, but are priced fabulously as well. Be sure to click on the image to view more details. For those of you wondering, my tree is labeled below as “a”.

The Most Realistic Pre-lit Christmas Trees
Hopefully my round-up has proven to you that there is no need to drop $800 to have a beautiful Christmas tree.
Now get out there and design some good vibes. Please also be sure to spread the love and Pin…
