Paint is one of the cheapest ways to transform a dated bathroom....
Let me show you the fastest way to paint your bathroom vanity cabinets...
Materials Needed:
– 100-150 grit sanding block – paint brush – foam roller and tray – durable, self-leveling paint – screwdriver
Using a screwdriver, remove cabinet doors from vanity frame along with the cabinet hardware.
step 1
Use a sanding block to lightly scuff up the surface of the cabinets. You don’t have to entirely strip the finish- just dull the “shine”.
step 2
If you are using a light-colored paint, you will first need to apply an oil-based primer/stain blocker. If you are using a really dark color, you can go ahead and use your brush to cut in the cabinet details.
step 3
Once you have cut in your details and smaller surface areas with a brush, use your foam roller to apply paint to the entire surface of your cabinets and/or drawers.
step 4
Once your first coat of paint has dried, you can apply subsequent coats as needed. Then, allow to cure.
